Ayurveda in the
Netherlands
Since Dhr. Anil K. Mehta's
pioneering days much has
happened in regard to the
popularization of Ayurveda.
A large number of products
and services have become
available to the general
public.
Ayurveda, the Science of
Life was expounded and
practiced in ancient times
by the sages, which they
received in their spiritual
pursuit. Ayurveda is not
only a healthcare system to
cure disease but a system
that reveals to us how to
achieve ‘Perfect Health’
both physically and
mentally, and lead a happy
and healthy life.
The European Institute for
Scientific Research on
Ayurveda (EISRA)
was founded as the first
institute ever to bring
Ayurveda to The Netherlands.
Currently we have come to a
new phase in the development
of Ayurveda in the European
countries that again demands
tuning in of the healthcare
offerings.
We are aware however that
this again constitutes an
intermediate solution.
Ayurveda is becoming popular
very fast.
In order to satisfy the
demand for adequate
education and deliver
trained practitioners, the
Ayurvedic Healthcare Center
(AGN - Ayurvedisch
Gezondheidscentrum
Nederland) is collaborating
with the European Institute
for Scientific Research on
Ayurveda. Since 1989 this
institute has been active in
training professionals in
this field. In 2001 we have
achieved a milestone. Our
institute was affiliated
with the Gujarat Ayurveda
University, one of the most
prestigious Universities in
India.
We hope to be able to
inspire you to deepen your
experience of Ayurveda.
AGN ( Ayurvedic
Healthcare Center )
The Ayurvedic Healthcare
Center (AGN) offers intakes,
consultations, treatment,
and lifestyle- and human
development coaching for
those who wish to deepen
their knowledge and
experience of Ayurveda.
